about

Elitist is Homer Sparks' first motif album that finally breaks away from the previous ragtag albums. Not only does it stray from its unorthodox style of order but the style of music itself is something you wouldn't expect.

From acoustic guitars, banjos and various instruments found around the house, Elitist provides a more modish instrumentation. Even with the recording platform being Garageband and the limited ability to record with only one microphone, it keeps its status of pride and ownership, freedom and independence, wealth and charm held high between its sailing electric guitars and rhythmic synthesizers.

From its birth to its death it sings for something between praise and smite. Its authentic yet fiendish; reliant yet arrogant; leaving room for the listener to determine its ending.
